“Kitchen” and Family Crimes: Perpetrators, Circumstances, Cases. Lecture by Renata from Worek Kości

We invite you to a new lecture by Renata Kuryłowicz about crimes committed within the family circle.

Prepare for an analysis of perpetrators, statistics, circumstances and exceptional examples from the history of criminology.

Speaker:

• Renata Kuryłowicz / Renata from Worek Kości — creates a podcast, writes and talks about the anthropology of death, crimes, executions and true macabre. An art historian. Author of the blog and podcast “Zbrodnie bez cenzury” (available on YT and audio platforms). Creator of a burlesque and crime house and the signature cocktail bar Worek Kości (established in 2017). Longtime book editor with experience managing the foreign prose editorial department, non-fiction literature and running a publishing house as co-owner.
• She ran classes with women incarcerated in the Warsaw Detention Center in Grochów.
• On Kanał Zero she hosts an original program “Kryminalne Zero” (YouTube).

Publications:

• In January 2025 her book “Crime and Death out of Love” was published.
• On 15 October 2025 another book will be released: “Curses, Ghosts and Crimes”.
