Children will see traditional dance, sing and dance together, and get to know extraordinary instruments: kora, balafon, dundun, djembe, calabash, and krin. The whole event creates a colorful African story – with a multimedia presentation, if conditions allow. You will learn circus games and activities, the basics of juggling and working with props, discover your talents, and learn how to practice correctly. You will also make your own simple circus prop and take it home! During the fun, you will try your hand at balls, poi, diabolo, plates, hoops, flowersticks, rola-bola, hula-hoop, scarves, clubs, and maybe even stilts or slack-line.
