Creative Winter Break – Day Camp

We invite all children aged 7-10 to the winter day camp at Bemowo Cultural Center – Rozłogi 18 – from January 26-30, 2026, from 08:00 to 16:00. 🗓️ Winter day camp program: - 08:00 – 09:00 games, fun, integration – we meet at MAL "2 Jelonki" - 09:00 – 10:30 creative workshops - 10:50 – 12:20 art workshops - 12:20 – 13:30 lunch break and creative workshops - 13:30 – 14:30 sports activities - 14:45 – 15:45 "Brain at Work" workshops - 15:45 – 16:00 games and fun at MAL Activity descriptions: "Brain at Work" workshops Activities for children who like challenges – logical, memory, and creative, that is, those who like to use their brains. During the classes, children develop skills in the following areas: 1. memory and concentration Children will memorize a shopping list, draw a previously shown picture from memory, write with their non-dominant hand, backwards or with both hands, or practice fast writing and dictation. 2. logical thinking During the classes, young smarties will solve logical puzzles such as sudoku, simple crosswords, word searches, finding pairs, searching for specific elements/changes in a room, etc. 3. Creativity Creativity exercises include tasks such as coming up with as many words as possible from a letter scramble, finding new uses for everyday items, or drawing a picture made only of square elements. Creative workshops Nature-themed creative workshops - "Get to Know the Birds in Your Yard" – ornithological workshop. Children will learn interesting facts about the habits of birds that are often their neighbors. As a creative task, they will make a bird mobile to hang in their room. - "Protecting Birds Matters" – during these workshops, we will encourage children to think creatively, inspired by various images, and create simple slogans on the topic using collage techniques. The slogans will be transferred onto cotton bags using transfer foil, which each child will take home. Children will also have pre-prepared bird silhouettes to decorate their bags. - "Fantastic Animals" – in these workshops, each participant can become an animal of their own invention. The base of our activity will be masks, which participants can decorate as they wish. They can be inspired by real animals or create their own, as their imagination suggests. Culinary workshops - "Lunchboxes from Around the World" – we will see what school meals look like for children in various, sometimes very distant and exotic, countries. Then we will prepare our own set in the Japanese Bento style with Polish accents. - What are Churros or Eton mess? In these classes, we will learn more about the world's strangest desserts and prepare Semla ourselves – Swedish small yeast buns, make cream for them, and prepare a cranberry-raspberry infusion. Art workshops "Meetings with Painters" – In these classes, children will learn about the lives of artists and have the chance to become painters themselves – dressing up in costumes inspired by artists. They will create a work inspired by the artist's pieces. Each child can take their work home after the class. List of painters: - Vincent van Gogh – we will create our own version of the artist's fantastic work - Piet Mondrian – we will design a bag inspired by the artist's work - Alberto Giacometti – we will make a sculpture in the artist's style - Jan Matejko – we will create our own Battle of Grunwald - Edward Dwurnik – we will create a city vision inspired by the artist's work Sports activities Sports activities for children combining fun, coordination, agility, strength, and endurance exercises. Through games and activities with equipment, children develop social skills, form healthy habits, learn discipline, and the principles of fair play. All this in a friendly, joyful atmosphere, tailored to their age. Crossfit stations, obstacle courses, tabata, movement games, stretching, and zumba. ***If the weather is kind, we will enjoy the outdoors – sledding and snow play 💰 COST: 950.00 PLN for one week of winter break for one child with lunch 🗓️ Please make payment by January 8, 2026
