After several years of intensive work as a director, Maria Sadowska returns to the stage with a unique, moving repertoire. The concert "When There Is No Love" is a collection of the artist's greatest hits from her recent albums, united by a common story about love — strong, lasting, and evolving. On stage, she is accompanied by her husband, Adrian Łabanowski, leader of the band NO LOGO. This duo of artists, with humor, sincerity, but also emotion, musically tells the story of their relationship — from "Tomaszów", through "When There Is No Love", to their latest hit created for their wedding, "I Love You" (known from the duet with Kaja). The program will also include film music pieces and songs from the artist's own films, such as: - "Rosemary’s Baby Lullaby" - "I Don't Want to Sleep" - "Her Portrait" - "What Should I Confide In" Breakout from the film "The Art of Loving" The stage will also feature classics like "Blues Route 66" and "Bless the Child" from Billie Holiday's repertoire. Despite the acoustic nature of the concert, the musicians use a variety of instruments; in addition to the piano, you will hear guitar, ukulele, hang drum, and banjo. In the jazz part of the performance, the artists are supported by a young, talented jazz pianist, Wiktoria. The concert will also be enriched by interesting anecdotes from film sets, singing and breathing lessons, as well as moments of communal singing. Maria Sadowska is a versatile artist, a multi-instrumentalist, who this time will take the audience on an intimate journey into the heart of her musical and cinematic world.
