We invite you to Krystyna Tkacz's recital "On the Road Against the Wind". Krystyna Tkacz is an artist who has clearly marked her place in the art of acting. She says about herself: "I am a singing actress, not an actress-singer," and this basically explains everything while placing her in a completely different dimension... rarely attainable for performers. She is exceptionally well-prepared for her profession: she graduated from the Music High School in Wrocław (singing, clarinet, percussion), and later from the Ludwik Solski State Drama School in Kraków. She debuted as a student at the Student Song Festival in Kraków, winning 2nd prize, and two years later at the Polish Song Festival in Opole, she won 3rd prize. Her recitals at the Actor's Song Festival in Wrocław were always received with ovations, and her performances of Brecht's songs have already become legendary. During the event, we will hear compositions by Agnieszka Osiecka, Krzysztof Komeda, Jerzy Wasowski, Bertolt Brecht, Kurt Tucholsky, Piotr Bukartyk, and others. The audience will be able to listen to lesser-known songs such as "Paczka", "Odrobinka winka", "Wyszła sobie kurwa pod latarnię", "Pijacka piosenka", "Dama z awansu", "Jeżeli miłość jest", but also sing together with the artist songs like: "Ja nie chcę spać", "Uciekaj moje serce", "Drań", or "Ubóstwiam drakę". This musical presentation is a modest selection from Krystyna Tkacz's achievements in the field of song, which is her element.
