    About the event

    For whom:
    For PSP, OSP, ZSP, WSP firefighters, etc., participating in operations that require working with breathing apparatus.



    When:
    March 21, 2026 (Saturday).



    Where:
    Centrum Szkoleniowe FireTrap.pl, Warsaw ul. Kosmatki 12.



    Purpose:
    To learn what you should do to avoid getting into trouble and how to handle critical situations to return safely from an operation.



    Cost:
    450 PLN per person gross
    The price does not include travel and accommodation costs.



    How the training looks:



    • 20% theory, 80% practice.
    • Lectures presented as slides.
    • Training in the most demanding conditions that can be reproduced during exercises.
    • An obstacle course designed by the organizers covering several hundred square meters.


    Topics covered:



    • Preparation and donning of personal protective equipment and personal gear for work in a "difficult zone".
    • Emergency situations: breathing apparatus failure, entanglement, evacuation through tight spaces, etc.
    • Help-calling algorithm.
    • Obstacle course simulating movement and evacuation from a "difficult zone".
    • Maintaining communications while working in a breathing apparatus.
    • Basics of air management.
    • Simulation of work under heavy physical and mental load.


    Requirements:



    • valid medical examinations,
    • good physical fitness,
    • completed training authorizing participation in rescue and firefighting operations,
    • valid accident insurance (NNW) in the home unit.


    Required equipment:



    • special clothing, helmet, balaclava, firefighting boots, firefighting and possibly technical gloves,
    • breathing apparatus (reserve minimum 300 bar of air), equipment with current inspections and approval for work,
    • motion alarm and radio equipped with rescue and firefighting channels,
    • flashlight.
