For PSP, OSP, ZSP, WSP firefighters, etc., participating in operations that require working with breathing apparatus.
When:
March 21, 2026 (Saturday).
Where:
Centrum Szkoleniowe FireTrap.pl, Warsaw ul. Kosmatki 12.
Purpose:
To learn what you should do to avoid getting into trouble and how to handle critical situations to return safely from an operation.
Cost:
450 PLN per person gross
The price does not include travel and accommodation costs.
How the training looks:
- 20% theory, 80% practice.
- Lectures presented as slides.
- Training in the most demanding conditions that can be reproduced during exercises.
- An obstacle course designed by the organizers covering several hundred square meters.
Topics covered:
- Preparation and donning of personal protective equipment and personal gear for work in a "difficult zone".
- Emergency situations: breathing apparatus failure, entanglement, evacuation through tight spaces, etc.
- Help-calling algorithm.
- Obstacle course simulating movement and evacuation from a "difficult zone".
- Maintaining communications while working in a breathing apparatus.
- Basics of air management.
- Simulation of work under heavy physical and mental load.
Requirements:
- valid medical examinations,
- good physical fitness,
- completed training authorizing participation in rescue and firefighting operations,
- valid accident insurance (NNW) in the home unit.
Required equipment:
- special clothing, helmet, balaclava, firefighting boots, firefighting and possibly technical gloves,
- breathing apparatus (reserve minimum 300 bar of air), equipment with current inspections and approval for work,
- motion alarm and radio equipped with rescue and firefighting channels,
- flashlight.
