Have you ever found that your clothes don't fit perfectly? Maybe your pants are too long, your dress needs to be taken in, or your pocket seems too shallow? Perhaps you'd like to embark on your own sewing or clothing alteration adventure but don't know where to start? We invite you to our sewing workshop, where you'll have the chance to make alterations and test your skills. 🗓️ Date: 6.10.2025, 4:00 PM–7:00 PM 📌 Registration: No registration required Experience: Not required During the Open Workshop, you can: - Come and use a sewing machine with expert assistance - Make alterations to your clothes independently, e.g., shorten pants, deepen pockets, sew in a zipper, take in a dress, etc. - Drop by “off the street” without registration - Bring a friend along Rules: - Before starting to sew or using workshop materials and accessories, consult with the educator. - Each person brings their own materials to work with. Materials are not available for purchase on-site. - If you're unsure whether your project can be completed during open hours, contact us before coming. - Follow the instructions of the workshop supervisor and adhere to safety regulations. - If instructions or rules are not followed, the person may be asked to leave the workshop. - Do not remove anything from the workshop. - This is not a tailor shop – we do not perform alterations or sew projects from scratch. We can help you do it yourself. - The Open Workshop is not a comprehensive sewing course. - We do not prepare commercial projects. - You can use the workshop without time limits, but within reason and empathy – in case of high demand, do not monopolize the machines and allow others access. - If the workshop is fully booked, you must wait your turn or return at another time. The event is organized by the Robisz.to Association in collaboration with the Orange Foundation.
