    About the event

Their bond was forged by a shared love of music. This is one of the most charismatic couples in the history of Polish musical culture: Ewa Podleś — a world-renowned contralto with an unusually powerful and deep voice, and Jerzy Marchwiński — an outstanding pianist and chamber musician, author of the idea of partnership in music, teacher and thinker. Their shared journey can be seen at the Museum of Theatre.

A curator-led tour of the exhibition will be led by Tomasz Pasternak, editor of the Orfeo service. He will talk about the collected memorabilia, the artists’ impressive careers, and the idea of partnership that united them on stage and off it.
