Open workshop (DROP-in Class) — 3 hours of play, exercises and scenes with side coaching (an external eye) to help you effortlessly build comic scenes and learn faster.
Just as athletes have a trainer or coach, many professional improv groups work with someone from outside who gives guidance to steer actors in different directions.
In improvisation every choice in a scene is possible, but the best one is the one that moves the scene’s action or the story forward and/or builds the relationship between characters.
In this workshop I will be your external eye. We will work to make the scene more efficient and to push the story forward. Side comments are meant to give you an additional option and help avoid transactional scenes and arguments that block scene development, or to help when you get stuck in a scene and don’t know what’s next.

Note: Side Coaching is the process of giving actors guidance while they are performing a scene.
