Start your lindy hop adventure by joining workshops designed to quickly introduce you to the basics of the dance and get you ready to hit your first dance party... Wait, wait... Lindy hop? What's that? Above all, it's lots of joy and a touch of craziness. Additionally, we'll bust myths like "I can't dance," "I have no sense of rhythm," and "I have two left feet." Get ready for: - improvised dancing, where anything goes and at a pretty fast pace - captivating swing music, lots of movement and smiles - plenty of calories burned and a rush of endorphins - joy and fun shared with another person - the fashion and style of the 1920s, 30s, and 40s (for those interested) - a connection with tradition and culture from colonial times to 20th-century USA - a huge passion and a friendly community - parties, trips, and dance events with quirky people Give us one weekend, and we'll fill it with the happiest dance in the world! After 5 hours on the dance floor, you'll see for yourself that lindy hop is just for you or... you'll recommend it to your enemies and later regret your decision.
