    About the event

Join the Żonkile campaign and commemorate with us the 83rd anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.

Become a volunteer for the Żonkile campaign. Send an application and join the volunteer team to distribute paper daffodils on the streets of Warsaw.

We invite people who are (by year of birth) at least 14 years old to volunteer. You don't need experience — we will teach you everything and prepare you for action.

    What to expect:

    • workshops on history and communication
    • practical meetings with an experienced training staff
    • walks around Warsaw following historical traces
    • integration events and new friends
    • participation in one of the largest social-educational campaigns in Poland

    📅
    19 April you will:

    • hand out paper daffodils — a symbol of remembrance of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising
    • tell passersby about the history
    • help create a unique atmosphere of remembrance and community

Where will you hand out daffodils?
The action volunteering takes place at several points across Warsaw.

Students can work in youth teams. Here are three locations reserved exclusively for people aged 14–19:

    • Nowy Teatr (ul. Madalińskiego 10/16)
    • Teatr Ochoty (ul. Mikołaja Reja 9)
    • Staromiejski Dom Kultury (ul. Rynek Starego Miasta 2)

    ⏰
We are accepting volunteer applications until 18 February (Wednesday).
