    About the event

    The Pół na Puł Film Club invites you to "A Cinematic Journey Through Time"! We travel back to the beginnings of cinematography to jointly discover the magic of the first masterpieces of the big screen. 🎥 Screenings take place weekly on Wednesdays at 6:00 PM. 📅 August repertoire: - 06.08 - MICHAEL (1924) Drama, dir. Carl Theodor Dreyer The tragic love story of young artist Michael for his mentor, who becomes the object of jealousy and manipulation. - 13.08 - VARIETÉ (1925) Drama, dir. Ewald André Dupont The story of an acrobat who commits betrayal to win a woman's heart, leading to his downfall and tragic consequences. - 20.08 - BERLIN: SYMPHONY OF A GREAT CITY (1927) Documentary film, dir. Walter Ruttmann Interwoven images of everyday life in 1920s Berlin, showcasing a city full of contrasts and energy. - 27.08 - DIARY OF A LOST GIRL (1929) Drama, dir. G.W.
