The desire to create moving images that tell stories and evoke emotions. This goal was achieved at the end of the 19th century, and it turned out that although a film can be silent, the viewer is not deaf. That's why film music appeared, bringing emotions that stay with us for years. Originally, the musical setting was provided by a pianist, who took on the burden of emphasizing the film's mood. That's why today, together with our excellent pianist, Waldemar Malicki, we will not only take a close look at film music, but even try it out on ourselves. We will reveal to you diverse worlds, including the musical-film America meeting Poland, both today and yesterday.
