On November 5, we will hear symphonic works by composers associated over the past 100 years with the Warsaw music university and the Polish Composers' Union. The UMFC Symphony Orchestra will be led by Rafał Kłoczko – a member of ZKP and director of the Zielona Góra Philharmonic. As soloist, Ryszard Groblewski will perform, the first Polish violist in history to be awarded at the International ARD Competition in Munich. Their interpretations will feature masterpieces by Grażyna Bacewicz, Tadeusz Baird, and Witold Lutosławski. The concert will be crowned by Symphony No. II "In Memory of Dominik Połoński" by Ignacy Zalewski. The event is co-organized by the National Institute of Music and Dance, co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the City of Warsaw, and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
