Dear friends! In October, we will host extraordinary artists and teachers of Argentine tango in Warsaw – David Samani and Rocio Aragón. They will lead workshops for us that may seem "typical" at first glance: technique, caminata, figures, barridas, colgadas... After all, we've all been learning this for years, right? But anyone who has ever worked with masters knows that tango is not just about figures or steps – it's about how deeply we can immerse ourselves in what we dance, how much we can make ourselves flexible, relax our bodies, and find peace, harmony, and depth in the embrace. Each time, we discover something new – something that makes movement more natural, balance more stable, dance fuller, and the connection in the pair increasingly magical. So when it comes to technique and the density of movement and sensations – who could feel and teach this better than those who have absorbed Argentine tango since childhood? David and Rocio certainly belong to such people. They know everything about grounding, embrace, and the highest quality of movement – because tango is not just a dance for them, but a profession, a vocation, and a great passion. This year, the pair danced on the biggest stages in Buenos Aires and prepared for the World Cup, where they reached the semifinals. Next year, they aim for even more – and we are lucky to draw knowledge and inspiration from them here in Warsaw.
