DEATHBRINGER presents a genre of death metal that can only be described as an absolute hybrid. Drawing inspiration from Decrepit Birth, Meshuggah, Death, and Morbid Angel, as well as the eclectic sounds of Ulver and Anaal Nathrakh. The band was founded in 2002 in Grodno, Belarus. Pioneers of progressive death metal. Deathbringer has toured worldwide, sharing stages with Vader, Behemoth, Marduk, Misery Index, Malevolent Creation, Massacre, Hate, and many others. Their debut album, "Homo Divisus," was released in 2007, and a year later the band embarked on their first European tour, which received favorable reviews. The second album "IT," featuring Bobby Koelble (Death), Tommy Talamanca (Sadist), and Mariusz Domaradzki (Masachist, Yattering, Azarath), was released in 2022 by Unique Leader Records. The founders were vocalist Paweł "Taz" Kowalski and guitarist Marek "Agnostic" Molenda. Thematically, the music addresses issues of transhumanism, body horror, and the technologization of the body – in the atmosphere of Tetsuo: The Iron Man, Cronenberg, "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream." It is music about blurring the boundaries of humanity and a future in which man merges with technology. Death metal in its intensity and brutality, but filtered through cybernetics and electronics – heavy guitars meet glitch, industrial rhythms, cybernetic sounds.
