Workshop and dance party Slow Drag Blues at Chata Numinosum

We invite you to a workshop and dance party dedicated to slow drag — a slower style of blues dancing. The classes are intended both for beginners and for curious dancers of other styles such as kizomba, lindy hop, tango, fusion, etc.

Schedule:

• 18:30–19:30 – Workshop: We’ll explore characteristic elements of this style and the history of this dance idiom. We’ll take our first steps in blues leading and following, learn to listen to the rhythm, feel the pulse, and translate it into movement. The workshop will be led by Hanna Kidron (blues dancer, teacher of traditional dances from Eastern and Western Europe, massage therapist who combines dance experience with knowledge of movement physiology and body awareness).
• 19:30–22:00 – Dance Party: A chance to immediately try out your new skills and simply enjoy dancing. We’ll dance to classic and contemporary blues tracks, focusing on slower pieces that let everyone find their own rhythm and style.

When: Monday, December 1, 2025, start 18:30
Where: Chata Numinosum, Warsaw
Entry: 20 PLN (workshop + party)

Please bring comfortable clothing, a change of shirts, water, and openness to connection. Pay special attention to personal hygiene before and during the workshop and party.

This event is free from alcohol and other intoxicants. We create a space of safety and mutual respect. We ask for consent, respect boundaries, and care about everyone’s comfort on the dance floor. A designated care person will be present to offer support and receive any concerns.
