Tell us about your Marymont! We are collecting personal stories and memories of our neighborhood. We want to learn about your favorite spots, hear about daily walking routes, and learn stories about places that have left a mark on your life and are important to you. Maybe you have a beloved tree, or a special neighbor you'd like to talk about?
On the Marymont map we will mark traces of what is usually invisible: personal stories, memories, overheard tales, places important only to us. Streets will become sentences, images and carriers of meaning. You can bring photos, notes or just your memory — whatever you want to place on the map. Let's meet to talk and reminisce together!
During the meeting a group work or a series of smaller paper works will be created. If you do not feel like making an art piece but the topic speaks to you, you can participate by speaking. We provide necessary art materials, but we encourage you to bring your own — especially photographs or other objects through which you want to tell the stories important to you.
Children may participate in the event only under adult supervision.
We encourage bringing something for the neighborhood table — it can be a small snack, a favorite tea or another treat you'd like to share.
Getting there:
- Closest stops: Marymont (trams, buses) – about 4–5 minutes on foot.
- The approach is along a flat, even sidewalk without inclines.
- Crossings in the area have lowered curbs.
- Street parking along the estate – paid parking zone.
- Two parking spaces for people with disabilities near the entrance.
- Above the door there is a ToTuPoint marker.
Accessibility:
- Spaces in MAL are flat, without thresholds.
- MAL has a toilet available for people with disabilities.
- The place is sensory-friendly.
- On site there are noise-cancelling headphones and a weighted blanket available for loan.
