CUBAN ACADEMY feat LUIS DUARTE, Oliwia & Kamila (workshops) 18-19.04.2026

Amigos!! After the huge success of the 1st edition of our workshops with Luis, we have already planned the next meeting.

NOTE! We remind you that the workshops are aimed at people who dance the given styles comfortably (from strong P3 upwards).

Our special guest - Luis Duarte comes from Portugal. He discovered Cuban dances at the age of 17 and quickly progressed from a talented student to an instructor and choreographer.

Luis combines key skills and qualities for a dancer and instructor:

• excellent didactic skills
• deep theoretical knowledge of Cuban dances and music
• a friendly, open approach, listening to students and giving them time
• extraordinary dance skills — once you see him in action, you won’t be able to take your eyes off him
• last but not least: Luis is a tireless social dancer and at the party will be a true dancing machine (maquina del baile)

What to expect?

• 8 hours of classes (theory and practice), solo and partner work with instructors: Luis Duarte, Kamila Zimnowodzka and Oliwia Szewczak
• classes in smaller groups with individual corrections
• learning partner communication, dynamics and the joy of Cuban salsa
• Saturday dance party Bomba Latina featuring our guest (more information soon)
