Zouk Atoms — Workshops with Olya Kostrova & Fernando Rodriguez
INSTRUCTORS
Olya Kostrova & Fernando Rodriguez
Fernando — philosopher by education, teacher by passion.
Olya — technical precision, a sharp eye and zero randomness.
They created the Zouk Atoms system together during the pandemic in Bremen — as a response to dancing based solely on “ready-made phrases”, without real understanding of movement.
WORKSHOP TOPICS
SATURDAY — Freedom through Zouk Atoms
- Understanding the Zouk Atoms concept
- How to break down known figures into elements and recombine them
- Head movements — clearly, comfortably and safely
SUNDAY — Creating New Patterns & Flow
- How Zouk Atoms naturally generate new figures consistent with the dynamics and flow of Brazilian zouk
- Head movements in new patterns — organically, safely and enjoyable for both partners

Workshops (Saturday & Sunday): 14:00 – 18:00 (8 hours total)
Mini Practice: 18:30 – 22:30
