Łapa is a musical performance based on songs with music by Zbigniew Łapiński, as well as those songs for which the Composer wrote music and lyrics six months before his death. The role of Zbigniew Łapiński will be played by Jan Kondrak, a longtime friend of the Composer, who will also read columns written by Zbigniew Łapiński during the final stage of his creative work. Songs with music and lyrics by Zbigniew Łapiński will be performed by Michał Szafraniec. Special participation in the performance will include two winners of the main awards at the Polish Song Festival in Opole, Danuta Błażejczyk and Beata Molak, who will sing songs with music by Zbigniew Łapiński from earlier years. The performance will feature songs with lyrics by Zbigniew Łapiński, Jacek Kaczmarski, Marcin Wolski, Grzegorz Tomczak, Andrzej Poniedzielski, Andrzej Wilczkowski, and Krzysztof Daukszewicz. All songs have been arranged by the outstanding musician, bassist, and double bassist Paweł Puszczało, who invited equally excellent musicians to his band: - Paweł Puszczało - bass guitar, double bass, - Rafał Stępień - keyboard instruments, - Krzysztof Łochowicz - guitars, - Przemysław Florczak - clarinet, saxophone, - Sebastian Frankiewicz - drums. 📅 On November 12, 2025, the premiere of the performance will take place.
