“Mama w emocjach” – lecture-workshop for women on the occasion of International Women’s Day

Sternik-Kraków Foundation invites mothers from the Sternik community, their friends and any woman who wants to join the one-hour lecture-workshop “Mama in Emotions”, led by Julia Liśkiewicz – an educator with research experience in the attachment-focused model of parenting and a certified trainer in anger management and difficult emotions.
Why attend? The meeting is loosely based on the “Mama in Emotions” workshops and focuses on practical tools for regulating emotions in adults. We do not work with children here – the focus is on mothers and their everyday lives.
Participants:
- will recognize their own “crisis moments” and learn how to cool down emotions before an outburst
- will see how small steps can reduce damage in relationships caused by anger
- will leave with concrete tools that can be implemented immediately after the meeting
- will better understand how their own regulation helps support the child’s emotional development
This is a practical training that helps regain influence over behavior in the here and now.
After the substantive part there will be coffee and cake and time for brief conversations in a women’s circle.
Host – Julia Liśkiewicz
Educator (UKEN in Kraków, APS in Warsaw). She has conducted research on the relationship between the attachment-focused model of parenting and building the mother–child bond. Certified trainer in anger management and difficult emotions. Author of pieces for parenting portals and magazines ("Magazyn Dzieci", "Mama w sam raz"). Creator of the @naturalnie_blisko community on Instagram. Privately, mother of four.
