The training is led by Dr. Edyta Laska

A specialist nurse in surgical nursing, doctor of medical sciences in the discipline of medicine, Master of Nursing, graduate of postgraduate studies in Biostatistics in medical sciences. For many years she has combined scientific and didactic activities with clinical practice. Professionally associated with Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski University in Kraków, where she works at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Collegium Medicum, as an assistant professor. She gained professional experience, among others, at the University Hospital in Kraków, St. Raphael Hospital in Kraków, the 5th Military Clinical Hospital with Polyclinic SP ZOZ in Kraków, and in surgical outpatient clinics. She cooperates with nurse training centers, conducting specialization classes in surgical and operative nursing, e.g. at Talmed in Bielsko-Biała and at the Higher School of Strategic Planning in Dąbrowa Górnicza.

She holds numerous qualifications confirmed by certificates, including instructor of low-, medium- and high-fidelity medical simulation, completion of the UJ management and business study, and trainings on contemporary wound-healing principles, care for patients with a stoma, and breast cancer prevention. She actively participates in conferences and training panels devoted to medical simulation, practical education and assessment of learning outcomes (OSCE). She combines clinical experience with a passion for teaching, focusing on improving the quality of medical staff training and developing modern medical education methods.
