Death Disco combine punk rawness, industrial weight and uncompromising electronics in a way whose intensity is close to a ritual. The duo will perform on 5 February at the VooDoo club in Warsaw.
On their debut album released in January last year, “Death Notes”, Death Disco weave aggressive synthesizers, processed guitars and pulsing, almost ritual rhythms by Max Barron with the intense, raw vocals of Samuel Kerridge. The whole balances between synth punk and dark post-industrial landscapes, evoking the spirits of Coil or Godflesh — the material was mastered by Justin K. Broadrick. The Warsaw performance of the duo promises an intense and direct encounter with sound that will be hard to escape.
