This will be a walk that will change your perspective on Warsaw! 📅 On September 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM, we embark on an extraordinary journey through Marszałkowska Street and the surroundings of MDM to discover the beauty of post-war wall decorations. Often overlooked in the daily rush, these architectural gems captivate with their form and originality, and once noticed, they remain in memory forever. Our guide, conservator and art researcher Marta Maciąga, will unveil the stories hidden on the facades of buildings. We will see the restored mosaic on the former Cepelia pavilion by Stanisław Kucharski, whose work we are promoting as part of the Eye on Art project. We will follow the trail of architectural details along Marszałkowska Street and visit Constitution Square (MDM), and who knows, maybe we will get a chance to peek into freshly restored interiors that hide further secrets? This walk is not just a history lesson but above all a celebration of art in urban space. It is a perfect opportunity to admire up close the artistic heritage that may have previously escaped our attention. 👩🏫 Led by: - Marta Maciąga, MA, conservator-restorer, researcher, and enthusiast of mural painting and public art.
