Digital Carpentry Academy at FabLab (for ages 11–15)

About the event

Do you think working with wood is boring nail hammering and something only adults do in garages? Time to change that! Join the Digital Carpentry Academy at FabLab powered by Orange and discover the world of hand tools, power tools, modern CNC machines, and self-made projects. You will learn to safely and efficiently use carpentry tools, design your own items, and create them independently from start to finish. You'll also have sessions with a CNC router and laser plotter – all in an atmosphere of collaboration, creation, and passion development. Are you aged 11–15 and living in Warsaw? Targowa 56 (Praga Północ) in Warsaw. 💰 PRICE: Thanks to workshop funding by the Orange Foundation, participation is FREE. The organization and facilitation are handled by the experienced team of the Robisz.to Association – the studio operator. 📋 DETAILS AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Why is it worth participating? - Learn the basics of carpentry: from design to finished item - Master the use of hand tools and power tools - Design a simple pattern for CNC milling and cut it yourself - Use a laser plotter and finish your own project - Develop technical, spatial, and design skills 📅 WHEN: The course includes 12 sessions, every Wednesday (except 11.11) from 17:00 – 20:00, from 23.09 to 16.12.2025. LANGUAGE: The workshops are conducted in Polish – to participate, you must be able to communicate in this language.
