About the event
March and the annual remembrance of the historic premiere of "Wesele" invite a visit to the Wyspiański Museum. Although we will say very little about the artist's dramatic works, there will be plenty of other topics.
In the current presentation the lower part of the exhibition focuses on the story of Wyspiański's work in the Church of St. Cross (which ended rather tragically and comically) and provides an opportunity to see rarely exhibited drawings.
The upstairs exhibition traditionally develops themes of the artist's work in:
- church of the Franciscans
- House of the Medical Society
- around Wawel
If you have longed to meet one of Kraków's greatest artists, I suggest a joint tour full of anecdotes, quotes and admiration. Especially since Wyspiański's birthday falls in January — such an occasion must not be missed.
