Mazowsze with a guide - hike through Kampinos Forest [Leoncin-Leszno] #3

About the event

We invite you to a series of one-day trips "Mazowsze with a guide" - on September 27, we will visit the Kampinos Forest. A hike through Kampinos National Park along the yellow trail from the north to the south of the forest. The route crosses all six latitudinal natural zones: the Vistula valley, two dune belts, two marsh belts, and the high plain terrace. The trip will start in Leoncin, considered the birthplace of writer and Nobel laureate Isaac B. Singer. Then, passing the Strict Protection Areas "Rybitew" and "Biela," we will reach the forest village of Stara Dąbrowa. From there, we will observe the spring-reviving nature in the meadows and in the Strict Protection Area "Żurawiowe" - one of the largest former strict reserves of KPN. Crossing the dune ridge called the Carpathians, we will pass through the narrow southern marsh belt. After the almost completely depopulated village of Grabina, we will enter the terrace of the Błońska Plain and, next to the former circus base in Julinek, reach Leszno. We will pass the field where Robert Lewandowski trained as a teenager and the large neo-Gothic church. In Leszno, lunch will be available. For those seeking more experiences, there is an option to walk to the baroque Łuszczewski Palace and the buildings of the former Michałów Sugar Factory. - Distance to cover: approx. 21 km through the forest + approx. 1.5 km in Leszno. 📅 PRICE: - 45 PLN/adult - 20 PLN/child 📩 REGISTRATION: Due to limited group size, registration is required.
