For each dinner, they invite exceptional losers, who are unaware that they are the objects of ridicule and participants in a contest for the biggest fool. As is often the case in comedies, an unexpected turn of events leads to a surprising twist, resulting in the planned dinner not taking place, and the meeting between the main characters, Pierre Brochant and Francois Pignon, turns into a hilariously entertaining spectacle.
