PETARDA A charming mountain cottage, champagne, strawberries, a beautiful woman by your side – is there a better way to welcome the New Year? Roman, a businessman and playboy (Robert Rozmus / Tomasz Schimschainer) had everything perfectly planned, but his passionate rendezvous with the alluring, though not very bright Sandrusia (Dominika Kryszczyńska / Paulina Lasota) is interrupted by an avalanche of unexpected events and troublesome guests. It all starts with a pair of random burglars, the clever and resourceful Malwinka (Anna Jarosik / Andżelika Piechowiak) and the cunning schemer Zbysio (Andrzej Deskur / Jacek Kopczyński), and ends with a visit from his very angry and religious wife (Anna Korcz / Justyna Sieńczyłło), who is searching for evidence of her husband's infidelity with the help of Alfred Pszczółka (Marek Kaliszuk / Lesław Żurek), a lawyer, detective, and amateur photographer all in one. When this whole group ends up under one roof, a real commotion begins, full of humor and dynamic twists. There’s even an Arab sheikh and mermaids from the Baltic Sea. “Petarda” is a hilarious farce directed by the master of the genre, Jerzy Bończak, which will make you laugh to tears and clearly show that there is no situation so difficult that, with a bit of cleverness, you can't get out of it!
