Hand-build a “mug in one”

On March 8 I invite all willing beings to a ceramics workshop where you will shape and decorate your dream mug.

We'll build slowly, pinching and squeezing the clay ball into the shape of a cup. Then you will design and attach the handle and base — and that will become a mug.

In the second part of the meeting you'll decorate it according to your idea. You'll have underglaze paints, transfers and stamps available.

After a few days, once your pieces have dried and been bisque-fired, I will glaze them to add shine. Mugs fired at 1240°C will be 100% functional — ready for everyday use and dishwasher-safe.
