We are glad you want to play a contemporary mystery LARP about the true face of a poet.
LARP: an interactive form of participatory theatre in which participants take on the roles of characters and enact them in real time. Unlike traditional theatre, there is no audience — everyone is simultaneously actor and observer.
Plot: a contemporary group of people (digital archivists, literature researchers, people connected to the figure of Władysław Broniewski, journalists) arrived at the Broniewski Museum to carry out the digitization of the archive. During the work, strange things began to happen — documents move on their own, fragments of poems are heard, “presences” from the past appear.
Game goal: by solving the mystery of the “haunting”, LARP participants learn the true, complex face of Władysław Broniewski — not a monument of communist propaganda, but a person full of contradictions, a great poet and soldier, a loving father and partner, struggling with his own demons.
Details about the game can be found in the project document.
