You perform and if something goes wrong, you cry bitterly? Once in kindergarten, a nativity play took your breath away and it still does? You can dominate the stage, but it costs you a lot and you want to have more fun with your performances? THIS IS THE COURSE FOR YOU!!! 🎉 If: - you want to perform, or - you want to perform solo with a microphone, or - you want to present work presentations more boldly, We have a range of exercises for that! You heard right, not just affirmation and manifestation but also actual exercises in falling, getting up, and having fun! Courage and ease on stage during public performances don’t appear suddenly. No performance star was born brave (not even us). Using methods known from improv theater, clowning, drag art, and performance, we will accelerate this process in intensive workshops focused on self-presentation. We will give ourselves space to be silly, to nonsense, to look ugly, to unlock the desire to play. We will move from failure to enjoying failure. We will provide a safe space for experiments. For being unfunny and foolish. 📅 Workshop schedule: 10:00-13:00 part 1 13:00 break 14:00-17:00 part 2 We conduct the workshop with particular respect for the boundaries and needs of participants, based on improvisational techniques and crowd work. We especially encourage participation from queer individuals, those socialized into female roles, and those whose needs are not sufficiently addressed in traditional performance workshops focused only on techniques and stage effects. The day after, we will create a lovely and delightful show full of silliness with all willing participants - more details soon! 🎭 About the trainers: VUJO - drag king, performer, and improviser with 8 years of stage experience.
