This time, we will work on smooth and fluid transitions between strikes and grappling, both in defense and attack. We will invite you to train with the concept of not separating the dimensions of combat but treating them as cohesive and complementary. In the training, we will use the Russian methodology of striking (ballistic bodywork, relaxed shoulder, "heavy hand"), which we will seamlessly translate into grappling techniques. In close combat, we will use basic grips and immobilizations, which we will further develop for those who have already trained with us, and provide a solid foundation for newcomers. In grappling, we will rely on solutions from sambo, systema, and catch wrestling. We will aim to introduce Eastern European training forms as complementary to the classical - sports or traditional - approach to martial arts. In our work, we integrate the classical technical understanding of martial arts, the principles of classical systema, and the comprehensive approach of Kevin Secours' Combat Systema. In the initial part of the seminar, we will work on movement fundamentals, coordination, and body awareness - going beyond the traditionally understood warm-up.
