I invite you to a theatrical (and slightly cinematic) walk through Powązki Military Cemetery. I will recall figures who shaped Polish theater in the 20th century. I will talk about, among others: - a director who brought Honda motorcycles onto the stage of the National Theater, - Arnold Szyfman and his great love for a certain actress, as well as his bold idea to establish a grand private theater, - the legendary Leon Schiller – a man of many talents and activities, - an actress who performed on stage at the age of 100, and another who played Alice in Wonderland at the age of 80. We will also stop by the graves of Aleksander Zelwerowicz, Mira Zimińska-Sygietyńska, Alina Janowska, Tadeusz Łomnicki, Janusz Głowacki, Jerzy Grzegorzewski, Kazimierz Rudzki, and other theater creators. I invite you, Justyna Kozłowska (Warszawskim Szlakiem), licensed PTTK guide in Warsaw, theater expert, and certified varsavianist 📅 Event: Warszawskim Szlakiem 📅 Date: Sunday, September 7, 2025 ⏰ Time: 11:00 AM 📍 Starting point: main gate (from Powązkowska Street 43/45) ⏳ Duration: approx. 2 hours 💰 Admission is free - tips for the guide are welcome.
