Do you have a drum, shaker, or another percussion instrument you'd like to play with? During the meeting with Macio Moretti, you'll find inspiration to play, step outside conventional patterns, and better understand pulse and rhythm. These workshops are not about perfect technique - they will be a space for experimentation under the guidance of an exceptional musician shaping the Polish alternative music scene. ⚠️ Bringing your own instrument is encouraged. We only have simple rattles, etc., for those who forget. 👤 About the host: Macio Moretti – “a one-man institution of Polish alternative music,” multi-instrumentalist, graphic designer, and co-founder of the Lado ABC label. He is known, among others, as the drummer of Starzy Singers and a member of bands such as Mitch & Mitch, Baaba, and Shofar. He is also a laureate of the 2010 “Polityka” Passport award. Musical Neighborhood is a project that combines the development of musical skills with spending time in a friendly community. It is mainly aimed at participants of the Maria Kazimiera Orchestra workshops held at Żoliborski Cultural Center – but also at all neighbors who would like to develop their musical passion. The workshops are funded by the City of Warsaw as part of the Cultural Education Fund 2025.
