Lidya graduated from the Agrippina Vaganova Russian Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg. She has won awards and diplomas at international festivals for her work as a choreographer and for conducting lectures and dance workshops. "Eretz Eretz" - the group was founded 3 years ago in the heart of Israel - Jerusalem, at the most renowned Israeli dance school Hora Jerusalem. The group's repertoire is very rich and diverse, including Israeli folk dances, Hasidic dances related to Jewish customs and culture, as well as folk dances of other nations, including 3 Polish ones: krakowiak, mazur, and trojak. The group's goal is not only to preserve the tradition of Israeli folk dances but also to creatively transform them into modern arrangements that are accessible and attractive to audiences both throughout Israel and abroad. The group is strongly connected to Jewish and Israeli culture and identity, and its program is deeply rooted in the tradition of Israeli folk dance and folklore. The group consists of individuals aged 50+, which is an extraordinary inspiration showing that it is never too late to dance. Some members of the group have Polish roots, making their stay in Poland even more special. We warmly invite you!
