DON’T WAIT. CREATE! Imagine a scene where everything is alive – not because you planned every step, but because you truly desire something... Where you react and act here and now... Where your partner is not a background, but the driving force behind your decisions... This is exactly what we will focus on during the workshop. What will you learn? - How to build a strong, specific character goal - How to explore different ways to achieve the goal – so the character is not one-dimensional - How to make the scene dynamic, alive, and engaging This workshop is for you if: - You feel you need freshness in your acting - You want to act authentically and connect with your partner - You are tired of repetition and lack of emotion - And most importantly – you want to grow and enjoy acting Don’t Wait. Create! – is a workshop about acting driven by impulse, not learned form. About being in true contact – with your partner, the situation, and yourself. About reacting here and now, instead of replaying planned reactions. About creating a character that acts with a clearly defined goal and can adapt its strategies to achieve it – flexibly, authentically, effectively. This approach works both on stage and in casting – because a character that lives, reacts, and truly desires something gets noticed and remembered. Join us! FOR WHOM: The workshop is intended for adults, actors, acting students, performers, and anyone who wants to deepen their skills on stage and in front of the camera. Even if you are already familiar with the Meisner technique – you are welcome! Acting is not theory, it’s action. Every new encounter with a stage partner develops your skills. I also work a bit differently each time – which is why every workshop is a new experience and an opportunity to deepen your stage skills and work with a partner. ABOUT SANFORD MEISNER: He was one of the greatest and most influential acting teachers of the 20th century, a member and actor of the Group Theatre. From 1935, he devoted himself mainly to teaching, first in New York, later in Los Angeles. Many outstanding actors emerged from his tutelage, 37 of whom received Oscars (including Robert Duvall, Diane Keaton, James Caan, Eli Wallach, and Jeff Goldblum). For Meisner, acting was rooted in real action derived from the relationship with the stage partner. He emphasized extracting true interactions between actors, which helped them, within imagined circumstances, react authentically and in accordance with the principle of "here and now."
