A one-time, two-hour intensive meeting that will introduce participants to one of the most inspiring and creative acting techniques of the 20th century. The method of Michael Chekhov, appreciated by Anthony Hopkins, Marilyn Monroe, and Clint Eastwood, combines work with imagination, impulse, and the so-called psychological gesture, allowing actors to transcend their own limitations and reach true expression. During the workshop, participants: - will learn the fundamentals of this method and its application in stage practice, - will discover how imagination can become a source of lively, authentic action, - will explore the role of psychological gesture as a tool for character building, - through exercises with elements of pantomime, will learn precision of movement, attentiveness to gesture, and conscious use of body language. The workshop is open to both individuals with acting experience and those who are just beginning their journey with theater. It is a space for exploration, experimentation, and work in an atmosphere of creative freedom. 🎭 Workshop leader: Ireneusz Wojaczek 📞 Applications: 690 691 552 [email protected] The Contemporary Music Space Hashtag Lab is co-financed by the Capital City of Warsaw.
