International Poster Biennale in Warsaw 📅 On July 5th, the iconic poster festival will begin at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, the oldest and one of the most significant and recognizable artistic events in the world dedicated to posters – the 29th International Poster Biennale in Warsaw. The event will last until October 5th. The International Poster Biennale was first held on June 6th, 1966 at Zachęta – the Central Bureau of Artistic Exhibitions (today Zachęta National Gallery of Art) as the world's first international, cyclical event dedicated to the field of posters. After 1994, the Biennale took place at the Poster Museum in Wilanów, and finally, in 2018, it returned to its birthplace, the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. The event is under the honorary patronage of the Mayor of Warsaw.
