We invite you to a new event in Rembertów – Street Lifting at Wygoda 2025, which will take place on September 13 at 10:00 at the recreational area on Wał Kościuszkowski Street – Rembertów Wygoda. Street Lifting is a spectacular strength discipline involving pull-ups on a bar with additional weight. Competitors perform one pull-up repetition (1 Rep Max), progressively increasing the weight in subsequent attempts. The event is held in full RAW format, without supportive equipment – strength, technique, and determination are what count! Event goals: - Encouraging families to spend time together outdoors - Promoting physical activity and a healthy lifestyle - Popularizing strength and endurance exercises - Promoting the city of Warsaw and the Rembertów District Competition categories: - Women - Juniors (15–17 years old) - Masters (over 40 years old) - Men: (up to 75 kg, up to 85 kg, and over 85 kg) Allowed weight excess: 1% of the upper limit of the category (e.g., in the up to 75 kg category, the maximum weight is 75.75 kg). Rules: - The competition is held in rounds – from the lowest to the highest declared weight. - Each competitor has a maximum of 3 attempts, starting with the declared weight: (Women and juniors – start from a minimum of 10 kg, while men start from 30 kg.) Safety and formalities: - Participation is free, at your own risk - Signing a participation declaration at the competition office is required - Minors – written consent from a guardian with a contact number - The organizer provides medical care - Competitors are not insured by the organizer Judging and technique: - Three judges (upper, lower, main) assess technical correctness - Start: The competitor stands on the platform, grips the bar (overhand or underhand). - Position: On the command "position," they hang – body motionless, arms straight, shoulder blades stabilized, weight suspended in front of the thighs or between straight legs. The movement must be initiated without swinging. - Movement: On the command "up," they pull up until the chin passes over the bar. Attempts with excessive torso tilt or insufficient height are not recognized. - Continuation: Stopping the movement at any point is allowed, but reversing or lowering before completing the pull-up is not permitted. - Technical prohibitions: It is forbidden to move the feet behind the weight or use momentum from stretching. The movement must be clean and controlled. - Return: After passing the bar, they must return to the hang position. Prohibited: gloves, braces, neoprene, training belts. Allowed: chalk and personal weight belts.
