The Military Cemetery at Powązki is not only a resting place for distinguished Poles. It is also where communist dignitaries, executioners, and torturers, who never answered for their crimes, are buried. Join us for a walk during which we will learn: - Where is the judge who issued death sentences buried? - Where is the executioner of the Security Office buried? - Where is the "converted Catholic woman" who enjoyed torturing young men buried? - Where is the one who oversaw the Stalinist repression apparatus buried? - Where is the prosecutor who accused Home Army soldiers buried? - Where is the master of life and death buried? - And many others... 📅 We meet on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 4:00 PM at the gate of the Military Cemetery, near the parking lot at Ostrowiecka 43/45. The walk is expected to last about 1.5 hours. Participation in the walk is free of charge, but if you feel the guide deserves a tip, it is appreciated. The walk will be led by a city guide from Warszawski Zaułek. You are warmly invited, and see you there.
