In this series, Contakids classes reign, but you will also have the pleasure of meeting during workshops on various topics and for different age groups:
🟤 “𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐝𝐬 - 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐣𝐧𝐞 𝐳𝐚𝐣ę𝐜𝐢𝐚 𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐤𝐨ś𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐰𝐞” 𝐝𝐥𝐚 𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐳𝐢𝐧 𝐳 𝐝𝐳𝐢𝐲𝐞ć𝐦𝐢 𝐰 𝐰𝐢𝐞𝐤𝐮 𝟏,𝟓 - 𝟓 𝐥𝐚𝐭
led by: Monika Węgrzynowicz
Contakids is a movement-based closeness activity that relies on the idea of using physical contact to develop a deeper form of communication between adults and children. Through body movement work, the child can develop their motor skills and self-confidence, while the parent/caregiver builds trust in themselves and the child.
🟤 “𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐲” 𝐫𝐨𝐳𝐭𝐚ń𝐜𝐳𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐝𝐥𝐚 𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐳𝐢𝐧 𝐳 𝐝𝐳𝐢𝐲𝐞ć𝐦𝐢 𝐰 𝐰𝐢𝐞𝐤𝐮 𝐨𝐝 𝟑 𝐝𝐨 𝟏𝟐 𝐦𝐢𝐞𝐬𝐢ę𝐜𝐲
led by: Hanna Bylka-Kanecka
Infant movements often seem to adults as imperfect, strange, merely a stage on the way to mobility and coordination achieved later in life. During the workshops, we will immerse ourselves in the world of small children's movement with the intention of deepening qualitative communication within the family. It will also be an opportunity to recognize and support the physical being in the world and rediscover the potential in building one's own health and emotional openness by returning to early childhood developmental patterns.
🟤 “𝐑𝐚𝐳𝐞𝐦” 𝐜𝐢𝐚ł𝐤𝐨-𝐩𝐫𝐳𝐲𝐣𝐞𝐦𝐧𝐞 𝐝𝐳𝐢𝐚ł𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐳𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐞 𝐝𝐥𝐚 𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐳𝐢𝐧 𝐳 𝐝𝐳𝐢𝐲𝐞ć𝐦𝐢 𝐰 𝐰𝐢𝐞𝐤𝐮 𝟓–𝟕 𝐥𝐚𝐭
led by: Dominika Szala
What can we do together?
What is it like to be together with each other when we love our whole body, our whole selves? And how about with another person? What is it like to be together with another person when we are accompanied by curiosity about what will happen? Being in a group is an infinity of inspiration.
We will seek answers to these and other questions together through the body and movement, and our best guides will be ourselves.
🐻 It is recommended to wear comfortable clothing that does not restrict movement, with the option of removing socks. 🐻
The project is a continuation of the Old Brewery New Dance for children — Dancing Families program implemented by the Art Stations Foundation by Grażyna Kulczyk from 2011 to 2021. In 2020-2022, the program took place at the Polish Theater in
Poznań, and since 2023 it has been continuously held at: the Children's Art Center in Poznań, the Ochota Theater named after Jan and Halina Machulski in Warsaw, and the City Culture Institute in Gdańsk. In 2024, for the first time, Dancing Families will take place at the Nowa Huta Cultural Center - Krakow Choreographic Center and the Czesław Chruszczewski Public Library in Mieścisko. The project operator is the Performat Foundation. The substantive supervisor of the program is Hanna Bylka-Kanecka.
