January guided tour combined with a lecture, during which Piotr Korduba will talk about the phenomenon of the magazine 'You and I' from the perspective of the culture of living, arranging, and furnishing apartments, as well as shaping the tastes of Polish women and men in the 1960s.

Prof. UAM dr hab. 𝐏𝐢𝐨𝐭𝐫 𝐊𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐮𝐛𝐚 – art historian dealing with the culture of living, artistic crafts, design, and German-Polish artistic-historical relations. Director of the Institute of Art History at UAM. Author of, among others, the books 'Sołacz. Houses and People,' 'In Old Grunwald. Houses and Their Inhabitants' [together with A. Paradowska], 'Folk Culture for Sale,' and 'Warsaw Apartments. Biographies of Places, Things, and People' [together with J. Trybuś]. Currently, he is the head of the research project 'Furniture from Poznań 1945-1989. Education, Design, Production.'

This is the first extensive presentation of the phenomenon of a magazine that, despite the policy of austerity, promoted the lifestyle of the European middle class. By showcasing fashion and design, it itself constituted a carefully designed object.
