Racing Turtles is a band that has been active since December 2010.

When it comes to inspirations, our attention races towards South American dance rhythms and bossa nova, but we also do not completely turn away from our native culture.

It's like Latino in Polish.

This Polishness is primarily visible in the lyrics authored by the Turtles and our friends.

This is how unique music is created by combining two worlds.

The lyrics are light and pleasant, but not trivial, creating a perfect complement, not a background, to the compositions.

We have had the opportunity to perform on the stages of many clubs and club cafes in Warsaw and the surrounding area (including Tygmont, Grawitacja, Harenda, Chwila Klub, Mam Ochotę, MiTo, The Lounge, Jaś i Małgosia, La Lucy, Świetlica Wolności).

We have participated twice in the Local Cultures Festival in Radzymin. We have also been guests at many festivals organized by MDK Wołomin, as well as at Motoserce 2014 and 2015 in Wiązowna.

We also have rich experience in performing on the stages of cultural centers (including MOK Józefów, MOK Radzymin, Artistic Animation House Włochy).

We already have four EPs to our credit, the latest of which was released in 2020. Why Racing Turtles?

Because we are in a hurry slowly.

The band consists of:

Asia Iwaszko – vocalist;

Tomek Gańko – guitarist;

Maciek Górski – drummer;

Jacek Iwaszko – guitarist/accordionist;

Michał Rogowski – bassist.

We offer you a concert titled Rhythm and sounds will carry you away.

Our songs present listeners with various shades of love and hate and describe the most diverse situations that we all encounter every day.

We guarantee a successful evening – hot rhythms, optimistic lyrics, and an engaging presentation of the songs will certainly make every evening more enjoyable.
