💚 Target Audience: The training is aimed at teachers, therapists, psychologists, educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and students who want to become social skills trainers for preschool and school-aged children.

💛 GOAL: Acquiring the skills to conduct social skills training (TUS) with elements of cognitive-behavioral intervention for preschool and school-aged children, confirmed by a certificate and obtaining the title of 'TUS Trainer'.

💙 The training will be conducted using an approach developed by Arnold Goldstein with elements of cognitive-behavioral intervention. Additionally, we are aware of the specific conditions and thus challenges that an employee of an educational institution may encounter, and our training reflects this specificity.

🧡 PROGRAM - WHAT WILL I LEARN AT THE TRAINING?
SATURDAY
Lecture format:
Basic assumptions of Social Skills Training/(theoretical assumptions, principles of organizing classes, structure of classes)
Basic cognitive-behavioral procedures used during classes/(role-playing, modeling, observation, generalization, types of reinforcements, including feedback)
Characteristics of working with a group/(strategies for dealing with difficult behaviors, the role of the trainer)
Social skills trained during classes/(pro-social, identifying and coping with emotions, stress management, planning, etc.)
SUNDAY
Workshop format, i.e., practical skills for conducting classes/(group work: creating lesson scenarios and skill steps, role-playing, practicing feedback)

💚 The training will be led by:
💚 Katarzyna Grabia - Psychologist - sexologist, social skills trainer, HIV/AIDS advisor, academic lecturer. She runs a private practice. Coordinator of activities, President of the CzuliMy Foundation. CBT psychotherapist in training. For 7 years, she worked in education as a school psychologist and health education teacher. She has been conducting social skills training since 2018: initially in kindergartens and schools, in counseling, currently in the foundation - she has conducted over 1630 hours of TUS. She works therapeutically with youth, their parents, and adults. She conducts training for teaching councils.
💚 Jakub Kwieciński - Special educator, social skills trainer & aggression replacement trainer. He works as a co-organizing teacher and special educator in a primary school. He has conducted social skills training in kindergartens and counseling, currently doing so in school and in the foundation. He has conducted over 1200 hours of TUS. He collaborates with kindergartens and schools, supporting pedagogical teams and co-creating programs for students with special educational needs.
💚 Natalia Juralewicz - Special educator, deaf educator, blind educator, pedagogical therapist, social skills trainer & aggression replacement trainer, sensory plasticity trainer. She is a class teacher and co-organizing teacher in a primary school. She has conducted social skills training in kindergartens and counseling, currently doing so in school and in the foundation. She has conducted over 1400 hours of TUS. She has many years of experience working with people with disabilities and those on the autism spectrum.

💛 What sets us apart?
- Trainers with many years of practice - not only theoretical knowledge but also professional experience related to work in education at various educational stages. We are aware of the specific conditions and thus challenges that an employee of an educational institution may encounter.
- Each day is led by 2 TUS trainers - the lecture part is conducted by a psychologist-sexologist and a special educator, while the workshop part is led by two special educators. This aims to present the full spectrum of knowledge about TUS as well as the possible difficulties that may arise during training. Each of the trainers possesses specific specialized knowledge that is useful in TUS practice as well as in the professional future of future educators and psychologists.

- Support after training: group intervision - online for up to 6 months after the training, if participants start working as TUS trainers in the meantime.
