In the Universe of Theatre and Mind, we will host Agata Duda-Gracz for the second time – a director, set designer, and screenwriter ❤️

MASTERCLASS: THE CHARACTER 'Macbeth' – an insightful and intense look at the creation that is a stage character, or *spiritus movens* of the performance.

This time, the director will focus on the characters appearing in Shakespeare's drama 'Macbeth.' This wonderful journey into the depths of the full and multidimensional heroes of the drama, combined with the artist's unique workshop, will ensure undeniable growth in acting skills.

The workshop is the work of actors on form. On its sense and internalization. On expression and intensity of emotions and form. It is also the work and observation of how individual characteristic traits of the character are isolated in the body.

An essential element will also be reaching back into memory for significant events, moments from the lives of the participants to motivate the behaviors embedded in the individual characters of the drama.

This is a detailed and precise journey. A valuable and developing collaboration with the director. Her watchful eye will guide each actor through a wide range of character possibilities, paying attention to the amplitude of their actions.

These will be workshops based on original techniques for building a role by the actor.

They will consist of two parts:

1️⃣ The first part – will cover various techniques for building the internal landscape of the character, the character's awareness, its motor skills, and body form.

2️⃣ The second part – focuses on techniques for building the character's emotionality.
