With great joy, we invite you to the 54th edition of the Peña Flamenca Triana project! The concerts and workshops promise to be delicious thanks to our amazing guests. As always, we invite artists who have already performed in Poland and whom the audience has come to love, and we also strive to present new faces, new talents emerging on the stages of Seville, Granada, or Madrid.
This time, once again, the incomparable Cristina Tovar will sing for us, who has visited Warsaw not only during the peña but also with the famous Pastora Galvan's group. We have also been eagerly awaiting the return of the wonderful dancer Alberto Selles. During his previous performance at the Peña Flamenca Triana last spring, we showed a video of 5-year-old Alberto (!!!) performing a brilliant solo dance por alegrías. Those who were there and saw it will surely never forget it. Alberto is an absolute dancer, a perfect dancer - he simply is dance!
For the first time, the dancer Lorena Franco will come to Warsaw, highly recommended to us by Alberto. They have both worked together on many artistic projects, sharing similar taste, sensitivity, and love for dance. This team will surely create a wonderful atmosphere and a fantastic show together. We warmly invite you!

Alberto Sellés – an outstanding Spanish dancer, born in San Fernando – the hometown of Camarón de la Isla himself. He began learning flamenco dance as a child, first in his hometown, then in nearby Jerez de la Frontera, and later in Seville as a scholarship holder of the Cristina Herren Foundation.
At the age of 16, he won two important young talent competitions (Concurso de Arte Flamenco Ciudad de Ubrique, Concurso de Baile Flamenco de la Ciudad de Huelva), and at 19, he presented his first original dance performance at the Real Teatro de San Fernando.
We will not list all the awards won by Alberto, but it is worth noting that in 2014, when he presented his show 'Las campanas del olvido' at the Flamenco Festival in Jerez de la Frontera, the festival jury awarded him the title of 'Revelation of the Festival'.
Alberto's latest achievement was the award for best group choreography at the most important choreography competition in Spain in 2020.
Currently, Alberto Selles lives in Seville and performs with his own group (Compañía Flamenca Alberto Selles) as well as at the invitation of other artists. He regularly performs with the dance group Estévez/Paños Cía and the outstanding flamenco singer - Arcángel.
Lorena Franco is a talented flamenco dancer with an incredibly rich artistic background. For a large part of her career, she was an integral part of the Compañía Eva Yerbabuena, where she performed in nine shows of this legendary dancer and choreographer, regarded as one of the most outstanding figures in contemporary flamenco. Thanks to this collaboration, Lorena had the opportunity not only to perfect her skills and delve deeply into the essence of flamenco art but also to perform on the biggest stages around the world.
Lorena Franco danced in the award-winning show Catedral directed by Patricia Guerrero, which was also presented in Poland during the Krakow theater festival Materia Prima, where it made a significant impression on flamenco lovers and connoisseurs of the performing arts. Lorena has also collaborated with the prestigious Balet Flamenco de Andalucía, confirming her skills at the highest level.
Her solo career includes performances in prestigious tablaos in Seville, Madrid, and Japan, where she gained recognition as a versatile and highly expressive artist. As a finalist in renowned competitions such as Premio Nacional de Córdoba and Festival Cante de las Minas, Lorena has proven that she possesses both technical perfection and the ability to move the audience with the depth of her dance.
Cristina Tovar began her journey with flamenco art as a dancer, but over time she discovered her passion for singing. She honed her vocal skills under the guidance of masters such as Paco Taranto and Arcángel, and her talent quickly gained recognition on the stages of Andalusia. In 2013, she won first place in the singing competition por siguiriyas at the Festival Cante de las Minas in La Union, solidifying her position as one of the outstanding vocalists of the young generation.
Marta Robles began learning ballroom dance at the age of 10 and quickly found herself in a tournament group. At 15, she encountered flamenco dance, which was a revelation for her and almost immediately became her life path. She studied with many well-known dancers in Spain, but she considers El Torombo, who passed on the essence of flamenco dance to her, as her most important master, with whom she had the honor of performing in two shows presented at festivals in Germany. Currently, her artistic activity focuses on performances with the group LOS PAYOS and the 'Peña Flamenca TRIANA' project, as well as collaborations with top ballroom dancers and theaters and television.
Arturo El Polaco Muszyński - flamenco guitarist, co-founder of TRIANA, leader of the group LOS PAYOS, initiator and artistic director of the Peña Flamenca TRIANA project. He has been playing flamenco guitar since 1990. He is an outstanding instrumentalist, a master of solo playing, and also the difficult art of accompanying flamenco singing and dancing. Understanding singing as a source of meaning in flamenco art and dance as a carrier of energy and rhythm allows the guitarist to deeply immerse himself in the 'here and now' and play music that emerges on its own, which somehow 'flows from above.'
