We are known for often combining sound baths and steam baths. It is a journey with singing, living voices, a connection in a shared vibration. These are ceremonies in which one participates, rather than just being a spectator.

We do this every day at the Parostacja Wellness Center in Marynin near Warsaw (here you can find our vocal group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/706614338048059/).

Now, on the occasion of our month of artistic residency in the center of Warsaw, at Jazdów, under the Open Workshop, you have the opportunity to experience this magical connection of voices, temperature, branches, ceremonies in the steam bath, and preceding all this introductory workshops on opening the voice and white singing in the fireplace room of the Open Workshop.

We invite everyone who wants to relax in warmth and steam, to warm up and open their voice to connect in song, learn folk songs, and have a good time.

We will meet at 4 PM on Sunday, January 12, and sit in a circle to get acquainted - at Parostacja we meet regularly to learn songs and develop together - you can join us.

After the meeting, we will go for a warm-up in the sauna, then a workshop - the singing activities and song learning will be led by Wit Lucjan and the girls from the RECHA choir (Recha hučyć): https://fb.watch/vyp58c_ilC/?mibextid=KsPBc6.

Then we will go to the bath 'seriously' to connect in a ceremony of voice with steam and branches.

It's great if you sing/play instruments,
but it's also okay if you are just at the beginning of this journey -
singing in a group makes it easier to start.

What is white singing? In Slavic folk culture, there is a special vocal technique - white singing. It was born from a call, similar to the one we make in the forest to find someone or to find ourselves.

Since ancient times, humans have listened to the many voices of animals and birds. Using their own body and the simplest tools, they imitated the sounds of nature to connect with it. They heard a response: birds responded to the sound of the lure, herds followed the shepherd's horn, animals came out of their hiding places to the hunter.

From this dialogue, from the harmonization of humans and nature, music was born, singing was born.

У славянскай народнай культуры існуе адметная вакальная тэхніка — белы спеў. Ён нарадзіўся з клічу, падобнага да таго, які мы пасылаем у лесе, каб каго-небудзь знайсці або знайсціся самому.

З даўніх часоў чалавек прыслухоўваўся да шматлікіх галасоў жывёл і птушак. Выкарыстоўваючы сваё цела і найпрасцейшыя інструменты, ён імітаваў гукі прыроды, каб увайсці з ёй у кантакт. Ён чуў адказ: птушкі адгукаліся на вабiк, статкі ішлі за пастуховай трубой, жывёлы выходзілі з сваіх зацiшкаў да паляўнічага.

З гэтага дыялогу, з гарманізацыі чалавека з прыродай нараджалася музыка, нараджаўся спеў.

Что такое белый спев? В славянской народной культуре существует особая вокальная техника. Белый спев. Он рожден из зова, подобного тому, который мы отправляем в лесу, чтобы кого-то найти или найтись самому.

С древнейших времен человек прислушивался к многочисленным голосам животных и птиц. Используя собственное тело и простейшие инструменты он имитировал звуки природы, чтобы войти с ней в контакт. Он слышал ответ: птицы отвечали на звук манка, стада следовали за пастушьим рожком, животные выходили из своих укрытий к охотнику.

Из этого диалога, из гармонизации человека с природой рождалась музыка, рождался спев.

We come to the city with a sample of what we do every day at the Parostacja Wellness Center, which is our magical grove near Warsaw, in the forest, by the lake, in Marynin near Grodzisk Mazowiecki.

🍃 We treat hot steam baths as a ritual.
We work with the medicine of the elements – fire, water, air, and earth, as well as what the plant world gives us.
We create a safe space – social, open, and honest – where everything artificial is left outside.
We turn to Slavic roots while also combining the customs of various bathing cultures from around the world – pirtysu, bani, hammam, or sweat lodge.
Discovering forgotten traditions inspires us to continuously seek new ways to experience extreme temperatures and treat the sauna as a laboratory of constant multi-sensory experiments.

The specialty of Parostacja is healing journeys into altered states of consciousness with the help of hot compresses made from fragrant oak branches and releasing tension, deep massage - in a ritual setting of dense aromas of incense, refreshing taste of frozen fruits, and soothing sounds of bowls and bells.

At Jazdów, we will arrive in a format already well-known to attendees of summer music and consciousness festivals, after which we circulate with our colorful and sonorous caravan.
Besides the bath, bodywork, and rituals, we offer you a rich program of workshops, concerts, and cultural events.
