Support group for parents of children on the autism spectrum and with ADHD.
Led by Karolina Królak and Anna Wysocka.
We provide care for children during the meeting!
They say you can't prepare for parenthood.
Especially when it turns out to be MUCH more demanding and surprising. The difficulties and challenges of daily life in a family where the AUTISM SPECTRUM and other so-called 'invisible disabilities' appear can overwhelm many.
GOOD NEWS - you don't have to do this alone!
Come on Saturday (even with children in pajamas and barefoot or in their favorite holey leggings), we will offer you good coffee and tea and a warm word. Don't worry about childcare - we know how hard it can be to organize it sometimes, and we are prepared - yes, also for YOUR CHILD. No one will look askance, because you will meet parents experiencing surprisingly similar difficulties, and the house is soundproofed, so as not to disturb the neighbors (who among the parents of a child on the spectrum has not feared/experienced anonymous reports, let them cast the first stone).
Applications in the form of SMS/private messages with your name and possibly information about your child/children (in case you want to use our care - name, age of the child, possibly other information deemed important by the parent) are welcome.
Payments: if you can, contribute to the donation box - it will help us cover the costs of purchasing coffee, tea, space fees, childcare during this time, and other expenses related to the foundation's activities.
Leaders:
Anna Estera Wysocka - doula, co-founder of the Democratic School Kastalia and the Amaltea Foundation, mother of 4 daughters. Creating a family where the autism spectrum intertwines with ADHD in various configurations. She has led regular support groups, circles for women; she also provides support to parents (especially in the early stages of parenthood).
Karolina Królak - a mentor at Kastalia, mother of three children, initiator of the support group after experiencing its beneficial effects herself.
